Original Cooking from Central Sulawesi (Celebes), Indonesia
Ingredients :
1 1/2 litre water
500 gram beef ribs
5 young tamarind fruit
10 bird’s-eye chillies, ground well
salt to taste
Methode :
Boil water. Add ribs until soft and well-done. On separate pan, boil tamarind with just enough water until soft and the shell come off. Take tamarind out of the water, strain by kneading it into the ribs. Put ground chillies and salt. Let it simmer for a while. Serve hot.
Makes 5 servings
